The first thing you need to do is stop saying things like, "DEMOCRATS ONLY PLZ" when asking questions like this. Democrats are always going to vote for a liberal candidate. You need to ask this question to Independents and moderate conservatives because it is THEY who will get the Dems back in power, not these far left idiots you are seeking advice from.

I mean look at Miss Mina's answer and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. The more you push against religion, the less popular the dems will be. Bill Clinton ended every single speech with "God Bless the USA". Maybe you could learn a lesson from that and not these idiots that are pushing to abolish the 1st amendment by ridding the government of religion.

Im not dem but I would love to see you guys win for once this century so heres my best advice... Replubicans have religion demicrats could OWN them on spirituality and I mean own as in people are crying out load for a spritual revolution and if you wana win just give them one thats all you'll need. Oh and let the people have more say in who gets elected to be elected for dem nomination. You give people what they want and not what your party wants and youll start to win elections again.

But honestly right now it feels like this 2 party system has turned into a 2 faced 1 party system so what ever... both sides are bad imo so I'm gona do as always and vote by making the choice to not vote. And by not voting I am not saying I dont care what I'm really saying is I think this system is in need of something... I still cant believe its the 21st century and us kids havent learned how to get along yet.

Democrats outnumber republicans in the United States. This means that, if everyone who is legally able to vote WOULD vote every time, more people would vote democratic in this country. The reason why this is surprising to some people is because the polls do not reflect this. Why? Because if someone chooses not to vote, it is more likely that he or she would have voted democratic than republican. The ones who stay home are not typically republican, because of the difference in mindsets between the two parties. Republicans would fight fire to get to the poll sites...whereas democrats are more inclined to take the "One vote doesn't matter" stand and stay home. The democratic party has that to contend with. If the democrats want more votes, they need to address this problem. It's not that people aren't willing to vote democratic...it's that some democrats just aren't willing to vote.

lol.
Your name is "pooky" and you work for who? I usually vote democrat, but with this kind of advertising, maybe I should switch to the dark side?

I think the republicans have finally pissed off enough Americans that dems probably won't have to do much. Both Lieberman and McKinney got shown the door, that is an indication that people are voting for performance, not name-brand.

Go make sure the performances are top notch.

ps: I want Al Gore to run for president again. Give him a call. Tell him John from Utah said get your butt in gear.

1. Get rid of Bush.
2. Find someone who is truly willing to be "for the people" instead of big business.
3. Find someone from a middle-class background who understands what most of the people in this country are going through!
4. LOWER THE TAXES! Make big business pay off their taxes so that the homeowners and small business owners and taxpayers are not taking up the slack for them.
5. How about we dismantle the subway system that runs under the white house, senate etc. and put that money to better use. Why can't they walk from building to building? Want physical fitness, lets start with Washington DC!

I'm center of the road, and I can tell you what is killing the dems: you can't come right out and say that you are going to raise taxes!

You either have to lie about it, or not do it. But if you start harping on the rich, and how you are going to soak them to "help the poor" that just doesn't work in the U.S.anymore. The days of LBJ are over, and they aren't coming back.

China and Russia proved to anyone with a brain that capitalism is what works, not big government. You can have all of the rest of the dem stuff and win, but you just can't have that one.

Unlike Europe, Socialism is only really wanted by about 30% of the U.S. population. You kill yourself if you push for that stuff!

GOP is a big tent. Dems are rigid ideologues. If the dems want to have a chance, they have to accept people into the party that aren't foaming-at-the-mouth leftists.

i get the feeling that a lot of people are single-issue republicans. they don't like high taxes or they like religion or they dislike abortion or they like family values or they like a strong national security posture. someone could be a democrat 90% of the time, but if they disagree with the democratic party on even one of their hot-button issues, they're going to vote GOP instead. you just don't see that sort of single-issue defection from the GOP like you do from the dems. why? dems just work too hard to exclude you from the party if you disagree on even one issue.

They need someone from the middle the only way they will win is by getting Republicans who are on the fence. Then the Democrats can win Ohio and Florida and Oregon and Tennessee BYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

We have to push for more separation of church and state since religion is why people are voting republican anyways. We also have to get rid of the image that democrats are all rich, since most are blue collar, or at least they were until religion became part of Bush's platform.
