"Is" & the question mark at the end emplies that you are asking us a question! But is it a good question? Stupid question? Bad question? A question of ethics?...etc.

You are posting a question.. true... in the dictionary it goes: "An expression of inquiry that invites or calls for a reply."

THIS IS EXACTLY OUR CASE! You are awaiting replies :)

But you are maybe just trying to raise a point to open a controversial issue for us to discuss and fight about.. or even be mean to you, saying this is so stupid, why are you asking such questions.... yada yada yada... its in the human nature! Humans like to fight! The only specie that kills its own kind!!

Your question is not problematic AT ALL! Its just a simple question asking us if we think it is a question! But people may get problematic, so watch out! If they say its a stupid question... what about the stupid answers we read everyday here! Right?

Another defintion found in the dictionary goes: "A proposition brought up for consideration by an assembly."

It is also the case here! Well.... kinda!

Also, yo may find this in the dictionary: "The act of bringing a proposal to vote."

We do vote in here! So, this is another indication that your question is a question!

Also check this out: "Uncertainty; doubt"

You are uncertain and doubtful! That is why you are asking us!

Also..... "To put a question to. See Synonyms at ask... To express doubt about; dispute. "

You put a question by posting, and therefore you are asking and expressing! This may bring up a dispute.... see above about the human specie!! LOL

Lastly: "Under consideration or discussion."

Yes.... we are discussing the matter....

The above information all imply that your question is therefore a question... a good one too! Hee Hee

This was categorized under philosophy!? Wasn't it! I am being so philosophical :P

No. Absolutely not. Because if it were, it would be something like, "What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?"
Or, "What is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?"
Or, "What is the sound of one hand clapping, if it's clapping in the forest and there's no one around to hear it?"
Or, "How many angels could dance in a mosh pit on the head of a needle?"

Not really ! It is the inner call , taking the shape of a question, since the mind could not help, (mind can verbalise experiences from outside only !).
