there was a slug that somehow got in my bathroom and was hiding out in there for a few days. Finally when I saw him come out one morning, I set a piece of paper on the floor, he crawled on it and I took him outside. I wouldn't call him a pet necessarilly, but he wasn't an unwelcome guest by any means, I just didn't want him to die in my bathroom. :)

I had two pet snails. I put them in my fish tank with my fish and the snails killed my fish. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true. I thought my fish were dying of "natural causes" until I found one of the snails attatched (yes, literally) to one of the fish, who was dead and half eaten! This happened a couple more times (two more dead fish, snails "feeding" (?) on them) before we decided to remove the snails. No more deaths occured. Carniverous snails? It remains a mystery to this day.

This sounds odd but our pet shop sells pet snails, there are very large

I doubt people want snails as pets. If you want, I can atleast buy you a fish or a dog.

I did have a pet snail called Dave once, but when I put him in his new tank, he drowned and died. I took him to the vets to find out what happened to him. Turns out Dave was an Iguana. I was gutted. But more to the point, I think we should hunt anti-hunting protesters. You would see the fear in their faces better when you point a shotgun in their face.

my 4 year old son had a pet snail called sid, he took him to nursery where they made a home for him in a glass tank with lots of vegatation , all the kids loved him but he died and they were all devastated.
