Are Jews paranoid? Israel being such a tiny country...?

I was wondering if Israel is keeping palestinians occupied because they are paradoid about being pushed into the sea! Is this paranoia a holocaust hangover? Is this why they want to occupy bufferzones into other countries?

Is this policy counter-productive being the only reason Israel is hated so much in the East apart from its being a colonial graft? People of the Middle East do not see Israel as merely a Jewish home meaning to live as a friendly neighbour... but a Western conspiracy to undermine Arab an Muslim autonomy. It is seen as the last colonial garrison in the region. I think the way out is only in understanding the fears and vulnerabilities of parties in the conflict and ensuring that these are sincerely addressed. Do you think i am making sense?

Yes, probably (in answer to your question). However, the question is, "Do they have a choice?" In that part of the world the unwritten law has been for some 6000 years: "Either kill or be killed." I am sorry, but I do not know what solution those who live there will settle for. Israel could not be so angry and act so independently (on the surface) without the tacit support of the Western World.

That Great Rift Valley (of Africa) actually carries right on up into the Dead Sea (if you consider it as a tectonic plate separation) and on up the River Jordan, etc. It is almost identical to the seam in a paint can, if you see the earth as being the paint can. Some spot has to be Zero Degrees........... or is it 360 Deg.? Jerusalem seems to be the spot! Never mind the Rose Line.

In a universe that plays games with duality, is it not impossible for us to ever become one? For sure we have not achieved that objective yet, and probably will not in the future, that is, without the advent of an extraterrestrial threat. Only mutual foes can make common friends.

At least Israel has the balls to do what America seems incapable of doing, that is killing terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East (or the world, for that matter) until each and every terrorist is exterminated.

Palestinians attacked Israel many times, they receive their just desserts. The same for the Hezbollah freaks.

From what you write, it would appear that the arabs are the paranoid units.

The conflict the arabs enjoy re-igniting at every opportunity is STUPID since they both lay claim to the same origins. Somewhere along the line of descent, a split happened..... then along came a seizure ridden man who parlayed his 'visions' into a hate filled following that took to heart his words, "slaughter every Jew that comes into your hands". And here we are, almost 1400 years later.... he is still followed, his followers blindly try to do the bidding of a dead man. Killing their own people, killing Jews, and decapitating those who do not follow their hate filled dogma.

I think it makes sense to exterminate all Islamo-facists that the world may find peace and our children might enjoy life without worrying about a fanatic stooge cutting their heads off for no valid reason.

Jews have been picked on since time began, all I have to say is God will not allow Israel to be defeated, shes right in defending herself and if we have any sense we'll be right there with her thru it all. Just the fact that Israel is at war says "heres your sign" and if they are suffering from a holocaust hangover, they have every right to be. Am I making any sense?

I don't think it is being paranoid. They are not an Arab states and many Arab states have said they won't rest until they are pushed into the sea. It's a matter of survival for them.

yes they are that's why they are still occupying the Golan Heights in syria simply for its strategic importance not to build cities on the land.
it's a threat to them so it's better off to steal it.
