Right, and they give whites higher SAT scores b/c they put a secret mark on their test. And whites shared that secret code with Asians so they can say it's not just whites.
So this is your excuse for not studying?
Well sorry dude, studies show that for a given education level, blacks earn as much as white, and have similar unemploeyment rate.

This is insane! I worked my butt off in school! I actually had terrible grades until I decided to smarten up and study more to get higher grades to make up for the D's and C's I had in 1st yr university. ONce I put my mind to it- I locked myself in my room for 2 1/2 yrs and barely saw friends and studied, studied, studied and studied some more. It paid off. I got some B's and some A's. I am now teaching pre-school and love what I do. I will be working and going BACK to school to get my Masters to work in the elementary system.
Don't judge people by color. And you are wrong.. color has nothing to do with anything. Especially not in this country anymore. North America is one big happy melting pot. It takes people with "judgment" that turns things sour. Throw it away and out of your mind. Try harder and then try some more.
And as for whites hanging around with whites because of preference- get out! Anyone will hang around with anyone if they have something in common and they genuinly like each other. People don't see color anymore. get over yourself will ya? Jeesh!

If you really think grades don't matter, color of skin does - stick with your beliefs, find people who are similar to you in skin color, see how far you get... I mean, I don't know what color your skin is, but I can bring AT LEAST ONE example of success in any color or ethnicity. Why don't you run to them, see if they give you a job just based on your etnicity.
I enjoy studying and learning new things. Grades don't guarantee you a good job anyway.

I struggled in school to get good grades, I wasn't handed a scholarship on a silver platter, I had to work hard and earn it! A degree is more important than race, no CEO is going to hand me a job just because I'm white, I need a degree to make it.

What the heck does the color of skin have to do with it? I dont give a rats azz what the color of your skin is, we all have a brain that functions (at least most of us do). its up to YOU what you do with that brain. I work with people that come from all kinds of races and i can tell you that i would not have it any other way. Thank God we are not all white, black, brown,. That would be boring!!!

Get over yourself. The country is sick to death of this type of racist whining. Speak proper English, look presentable, work to acquire knowledge, be reliable and the sky's the limit. You need to read Colin Powell's book.

I am sorry, but that has not been my experience. The only negative experience I have had is with extremely pretty, but less smart women getting ahead because of their looks and not because they are smarter than me.

i see the social issue as a problem but i don't agree that they don't have to do well education wise...to say that would be to insinuate that all white people are dumb and I don't agree with that. but yes, there is a social issue.
