I had severe morning sickness from 5 weeks until delivery the most important thing I learned is ask your Dr. for meds if the first don't help then get some new ones I finally got perscribed Zofran it is most commonly used in chemo therapy patients to treat the severe nausea they have. This is an end of the line drug and is very expensive but the only pill that worked for me it REALLY worked ask your Dr. about this pill, but all the home remedies will not work trust me just keep trying different medicines until you find the one that works.

Any over the counter anti-emetic will help with morning sickness. Try eating small, light snacks throughout the day instead of 3 big meals. Stick to fruits, yogurts, carbohydrates, and other light snacks. Avoid greasey, oily, fatty foods, and spicey foods. Drink lots of water during your pregnancy (8+ glasses of water a day). Remember an average weighted individual (body mass index ~20-29) should gain about 25-35 lbs during pregnancy.

i asked the same question 3 times my answer is don't get stressed out, try some ginger in any form ginger biscuits, ginger beer, ginger bread. dry biscuits. I needed hospital treatment with my pregnancy i lost weight but the morning sickness went at 20 weeks then i ate like a pig. good luck it will all be worth it when you are holding your baby for the first time.

ugh i know how you feel i had morning sickness(more like all day sickness) until i was 4 1/2 months ....the doc told me not to let my stomach get empty eat every 2 hours even if its just crackers or trying sucking on hard candy(like lemon drops)
my best friend said that she used cola syrup that you get at the drug store and poured it over ice shavings and sipped it
good luck to you and i hope that this stage passes quickly for you ...i know that i hated it especially when co-workers were like wow i never got morning sickness i just wanted to smack those people lol

i dont think i have seen anyone mention this, but a banana really helps with nausea from morning sickness. you can eat it between meals so that it keeps your blood sugar up and preventing morning sickness from happening or eases it

Oh, I can feel for you. I kept either crackers or dry Cheerios (no cracker crumbs in the bed!) right by my bed, before I even got up I'd put something in my stomach. Stay hydrated as well. And remember, if 24 hours go by and you haven't been able to keep ANYTHING (including water) down, you need to see your doctor immediately. They may need to hook you up to an iv to hydrate you.

Eat 5 or 6 smaller meals in a day, see if that makes a difference. I couldn't stand crackers, but I'd keep carrots or fruit around.

Yes, saltine crackers and water. Be careful not to eat right before you go to bed or the morning can be worse. Good luck to you, it does get easier eventually.

Lemon-Drops! I swore by them my first trimester. I kept a bag in my car, at work, and next to my bed.
