Get off the xanax ASAP, it is addictive
Trazadone works well for most people
Do not wing off without telling Dr. Paxil and Trazadone are anti-depressants and take 10d to 2 weeks to get into your system,
are you taking Magnessium (over the counter) at night-it is a wonderfull pain killer, relaxer w/o side effects, except if you exceed the amt . you will get diarrhea
And please use no Drugs, or Alcohol when on the above meds

The usual starting dosage is a total of 150 milligrams per day, divided into 2 or more smaller doses, so the amount you are presently taking is fine. Trazodone is the generic name for Desyrl; it is mostly prescribed as a sleep aid and is one of the milder of such drugs.

Did you tell your M.D. that your pain management physician prescribed trazodone? Or if you saw your pain doctor first, did you tell him about the Xanax and Paxil? We don't know your medical history; they do. You need to consult your physician about this. Without one doctor knowing about another doctor's prescription, YOU make it unsafe.
