It tries to use demographics, statistics and samples to draw a broad generatlity of a given area.

Socilogy is unscientific for people of lower mental capabilities. Sociology is a very vast subject and cover almost all subjects. Most of the people can excell in just very few disciplines due to rtheir limited mind powers. They take resort to easy shortcuts and confine to their own limits while rejecting importance of everything else except their own intrest.

A lot of it is half-baked gobbledy-goop. A major waste of 4 years to get a degree in parroting back useless theory that is meaningless on the street. Social workers should be required to pass a test in basic economics, then spend a year as a police officer.
