there are over 300,000,000,000 galaxy's and in each galaxy there are about 300,000,000,000 planets and stars... if you multiply those together you get a huge number... earth is only one in like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (didn't do the math, but i know it's allot of zeros) there has got to be life out there somewhere wondering if there is anyone like them in the universe... that is only one universe.. if you believe in the multiverse there are an infinit amount of planets and stars...

I don't think anyone will know until we actually see real, physical evidence. But it really does seem like there should be.

bet we will see evidence of some intelligence on mars! In its early days scientists believe it was just like earth.

Some people believe humans started on mars but before it was destroyed we left and seeded life and various other planets. Not so far fetched, if we were more advanced, we would do the same.

just something to wrap your brain around

The Drake Equation is an appealing argument for the existence of life on other planets. However, there is no conclusive evidence of life anywhere other than earth. There is some evidence that suggests primitive life on Mars, but the jury is still out on that issue. Certainly there is no evidence of intelligent life elsewhere yet. If intelligent life were prevalent, then we would have conclusive evidence of its existence by now. Based on the lack of evidence, we can conclude that intelligent life, if it exists elsewhere, is rare.

No one knows for sure, but I seem to think so.

Why would be the only planet with life? how did life get created on here?

We don't have the technology yet to be able to see if there is life on most other planets besides the close ones such as mars.

Wow, that's a really good question, I never thought about that. I mean I've been on Yahoo answers for like months and that question has NEVER come up! You are really smart, do you sit around thinking these things up all the time? Maybe you can come up with some more thought-provoking original questions for us?!?
