I don't want to tell him i love him just yet but i want him to know the way that i've been feeling i realize he may not feel the same way but i've got to try something today or i could loose this guy forever.

Regardless of Sex here, i think i know where your coming from. if your anything like me i put the biggest fronts up around people i really like"to the point where it almost seems like i dispiss them". So there is something big coming up in his life here, that may put your possible future at risk? If he is leaving to another town, or getting a different job , going back to school. Id come out strait forward and honest about my feeling"your heart will do what it needs follow it". let him know that what he does matters to you, be sweet be sincere, but allow him time to get his feelings strait, call him in 2 hours, go on a date, how ever you too do what you do. Tell him you care for him. Tell him you have strong feelings toward him that you cannot explain. Everybody wants to be recognized.
Tell him you'd like to spend time with him. Deliver the letter in person and look him right in the eye and say "this for you".

I think a good way to let him know you love him without saying it straight out would be to tell him that you would be happy cooking for him and cleaning up after him for the rest of your life.

You have to write whats in your heart.Your doing it here,you can tell him.Life is very short.Don't waste time,if he's going away you had better tell him before he goes.You don't have to mention love but tell him you care for him very deeply and you will miss him everyday.He will get the picture.Good Luck!
