OMG yes honey, I have!
My brother died Jan.21,1994 and I was only 15 at the time! But he was my only protector in my very abused childhood, he was my only confidant, I guess you could say he was my very best friend! He was 19 when he died! I still miss him today and it has been 12 years! I just wanted to died right along with him! But I am so glad I did not! Three years after his death I met and married my husband and gave birth to my daughter a year later! Now I believe I am having the time of my life! I love being a mother and a wife just as much as being his sister! So I am glad to have experienced it all! I am sorry if this has happened to you, but I can say from experience that this feeling will never go away! But it well get easier to deal with as time goes on! You have a reason to still be here! My reason was to be the best mommy and wife I could be! I truly believe that!

Never, I hate caskets I hate the tradition of the family parading in front of the casket with a dead person. YUK!
Frankly other than dead bodies creeping me the heck out, I think death is a positive thing. That person's soul is freed from this life. They are free from gravity and pain and all negativity! What could be better? I do not mean to say you should rush toward dying but I don't think there's any reason to be afraid of it. In my book, that person will always be hanging out by your shoulder to help you through the rest of your life.
The deceased won't be happier that you are sad that they are gone. Be happy for them and know they are always with you. Life always gets better in the long run.
Good luck, it will get better.

I was at my grandpa's funeral and I almost did. I've been taking it really hard...I almost fainted when I first saw him in the casket. I had to leave before the burial because I knew I'd throw myself in. It's been a really difficult month for me. :*(

Yes with my father's.
I gave him a Greg Maddox bear right before he died so he could cheer with it during the Atlanta Braves games. When he died, I had the bear put in his casket with him.
He died 7 years ago and I still cry and wish I was with him.

I had a boyfriend that died and it hurt me so bad but I knew that I had to go on with my life.
You will always have that person in your heart.
