if you and your friend both like a guy should you atomaticly lay off even though you knew him first?

you guys should chill.
it's not a contest, the guy will like whoever he likes, and you shouldn't turn it into a competition. if you see that he tends to like one of you, the other should back off, but guys aren't a first come-first served service, it doesn't matter who knew him first or longest or best, it's whoever he likes.
don't fight over him, get over him...

Ladies should never fight over a man. Shoes, hair products and politics are fine to argue about.
Let your friend go out with him first. Chances are he will turn out to be someone you yourself would not want date. See how your friend saved you some drama.

i think you should both tell him and let him decide how to solve it pesonally i would make you both have a k.y. wrestling match and to the victor goes the spoils heck why not both of you just share him one have him mon. wed. fri. the other have him tues. thurs. sat. and take turns on everyother sundaay i did that for a whole year it was great worked out good till i married one of them lol
