Sweety there are basically two types of women. Those that have been hurt enough to appreciate a man who calls her pet names and apologizes and the other kind who see it as a sign of weakness and will crap all over you. I hate to agree but I would but a cabosh on all the nicey nicey and see if she comes around. Some people like a challenge and don't know what they've got till it's gone.

Did she do this before you married her? If not then you have no leg to stand on.
Your not going to change by talking to her once. Tell her that its a huge turn on when she calls you sweet names. MAybe she doesnt feel comfortable with sweet sugary names- try even a pet name not so corny for her. Have you tried "Sexy instead of sugar bear"

well...she can shange if she wants to ...she probably was brought up in a family without love. Her parents probably never called each other honey or baby. My parents hate each other...they tell each other in front of us things like "why dont you hurry up and die"...no kidding they do. When i first dated I wasnt a cuddly person...and didnt like hugs and stuff. I still have a personal space issue. ( i dont like people getting close tome when Im talking) but my man melted my hard shell with loving gifts and kisses and hugs everyday. I respect him now...and I think its that respect that has kept me tender.
