Don't get it done with a gun!
That's the best tip I can give you.

And I don't recommend any rotation or twisting and turning through out the day, why?
Every time you twist it and turn it your force crust back inside the hole and this causes longer healing process. Yes it will heal, but it could take longer. The best thing to do is to rotate it, if you must, when you are cleaning it, after you cleansed the jewelry of the crust debris.

Keep in mind that the 'crust' is white blood cells and they are pushing out as your body tries to form a 'fistula' or a skin tube around the piercing. When you twist the piercing, you force the white blood cells back into the newly forming fistula. You also force the dirt from your hands into it too. Its best to do any touching of the piercing when you hands are clean.

Just keep it clean! You don't have to twist your piercing 50 times a day.
If you get pierced with a proper CBR hoop too ,and at a piercing shop.
Don't clean it with alcohol as it can be harmful to the scar tissue. Alcohol is not intended for puncture wounds,as it can be harmful if it gets in your bloodstream.

Keep it dry from water moisture. Some people recommend applying baby oil so there won't be any 'crust' buildup. Just remember to rotate the piercing back and forth about twice a day so it won't stick.
