If they are used from stem cells other than aborted babies umbilical cords I say yes. If they are from murdered babies I say no, it would just encourage the murderers in their pursuit of being accepted as mainstream and before we know it we will be breeding humans only to deliberately harvest whatever we want from them. It's one of those slippery slopes people.

What is the purpose to stem cell research: If the purpose is to find cures to diseases, then yes, I think we should do it.

If the purpose is other than that : Biological warfare, stopping the aging process (i dont call aging a disease but thats another question that is not being asked here), creating life for the purpose of proving that we have the technology....then no stem cell research for that.

I think the better question is what are we gonna use stem cell research for once we figure out the mysteries of life. I kinda relate it to the nuclear bomb. It could/is used to harnish energy for the good of man-kind but we had to use it as a weapon.

Yes yes we should and we are using stem cell research. Stem cells come from other sources then the fetuses. Bush outlawed only stem cells from the fetus. You can get the same results if you use ambilicord cells.

I believe that we have too. By limiting scientific advancements we are injuring our populations. Stem Cell research may lead us to cure or control many of the world's diseases and disorders. If we have a chance at doing that, Why not?

I like "stem" cell research. I think we should definantly use it. I believe this because if it could save even one innocent human life it would be completely worth it.
