Because it's a commitment. It shouldn't be taken lightly. I do't think anyone should get married before age 25. - After college. No kids until 30. If you follow those rules, I guarantee, you will make a better decision and will have a better life in the long run.
I'd be super scared of getting married, too. If I were I a guy- I
would always wear a condom.- NO BABIES UNTIL I"M MARRIED! and I would go to college, get a degree or two and
then think about getting married. It's in that order only.

When you grow up, you will understand,
but just consider this,
what happens after marriage,
you have to have money...
how much?
THEN WHAT?
babies= money,
how many young people have a clue on how to make a marriage work? AND STILL FEEL LIKE WHEN YOU WERE DATING?
a few things change, especially the "fun stuff"
If they are afraid, then that is good, they are thinking, if they are not afraid, i would run away very quickly,,

Some men are scared of getting married because of the fear of being known as a woman's property!

I also saw a lot of men who are not scared of marriage. It's not marriage they are scared of. It's a piece of paper, really. Marriage is a form of respect and security for a lot of us. I went through a 7-year marriage to find out that marriage doesn't make me happy or unhappy. I think a lot of people, including men and women, lost themselves when they are married and found out it's miserable to be caged. Be happy and be able to be who you are in a relationship is more important.

Because the divorce rate is 56% and it's hard work to make it last. Plus you can never be with another woman for the rest of your life, not that anyone pays attention to that part anymore.

Because it turns in to a nightmare so often, realistic women that don't think they live in a fairy tale are scared of it too and they should be because they get the poopier end of the stick!

Because most women can't be trusted. They'll say anything to get married and once it's a done deal, everything changes.
