Not even that. We're the lowest of the low, the scum of the earth, the most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever put into civilization. Some people hate the English. I don't. They're just Wonkas. We, on the other hand, are colonised by Wonkas. We can't even pick a decent culture to be colonised by! We are ruled by effete Blairites. It's a poor state of affairs and all the dust in the wind won't make any forking difference.

I close my eyes
Only for a moment, then the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind

Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind, ohh

Now, don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind

Dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
The wind

Nope... this is only a song.

Now don't hang on, -- nothing lasts forever except the earth and sky.
It slips away, ... and all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind. Everything is dust in the wind.
The wind

It is important to remember that our spirits live on. It is my hope that I will spend eternity with God in heaven.

Everything we have and seek after is like dust in the wind. The only things we can take with us are the good deeds we have done and the love we have given away.

Catholics remember every Ash Wednesday, when we receive a cross on our foreheads in blessed ashes with the words, "You come from ashes and to ashes you shall return". Alternate words "Turn away from sin and sin no more".

It is a reminder to live with the end in mind. Value What God Values.

God Bless You, ;-)

an eventuality... but i guess what's more important is what we can do that would have a lasting effect before we become dusts in the wind.

Nothing lasts forever, and we are small compared to the world. Great song by Kansas too, I might add. This is the song I want to be played at my funeral.

verily, when we die, that's all we become... plain dust. giving the notion that a person's body is nothing but composite dust held altogether by his will / fate to live.
