OMG, I was exactly how you were 3 years ago. I play both of them and they were really fun until all my friends stopped playing. GOOD GAMES:
Counter-Strike: Source
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 1942(Old, but very fun and you can get good graphics)
Those are fun, but if you want to stick to mmorpg then get:
Guild Wars(I think its ok but if you get involved in a guild youll be hooked)
