Demean her status as a smart, successful, and I might add wealthiest woman in the world - what cave have you been living in!!!! Maybe when your fifty you won't have the body to expose. Right now Oprah has and she does it with class.

I don't think so. She wears more than the rest of these women who are in television. It's nothing wrong with sharing cleavage and she doesn't do it in a demeaning way say as much as Fergie does or Lil' Kim.
She's a bright and successful woman and is just stylish. A 50-year-old is sexy or just as sexy... if not more sexy than a 20-year-old. With age should come confidence and acceptance of one's body.
If she dressed like Lil Kim or Britney Spears I would agree but she's modest. Even Gloria Steinem wore miniskirts so for a lot of women, the respect is there.

Heck no!!
Oprah is hot, confident, successful, a role-model. She can wear whatever she wants and people still love her. She could wear a burlap sack and the next day the burlap sack company would be out of burlap because all of her fans would have bought them out.
It also depends on what you mean by low-cut. That means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Our society is less affected by low-cut then it used to be. It's sort of the norm.

No. She should dress however she wants. Every woman should feel that confident.
I think its great that a woman who is 50 would still feel young enough to dress in a sexy dress.
Years ago woman who were over 40 were considered old. Its not that way any more.
If you are 50, you are still young. People these days don't start getting old until their 70s.
So if she wants to dress pretty and sexy, good for her.

Why not? This is not the middle east. Women can wear anything they want. It is a freedom. In the 60's remember the burning of bras? Womens Lib?

Ok well she's worked very hard to lose weight and 'shape her body'. She's obviously very proud of what she's accomplished and kudos to her. She probably just wants to wear stuff she'd never dare wearing when she was heavier. But I agree...as much of an icon as she is..she doesn't need to wear stuff like that. It probably just makes her feel good.

No. Her cleavage has no bearing on her success or iconic status.

Not even. She is richer than all of us on Yahoo Answers combined. She can pretty much do the show naked if she pleases.
