be sane and locked up in jail in solitary confinement or be sane and locked up in an insane asylum?

Sane in the asylum. That way I'd meet interesting new people and keep my sanity. It's the silence that does you in, really, but the asylum could be equally damaging, what with the drugs and all, the abuse of patients, patients attacking other patients, experimental procedures...but I'd prefer it to the everlasting silence of solitary confinement in jail. I need noise to keep me alive. Noise and No-Doze.

I would say be sane and locked up in the insane asylum because there would be a better possibility of escape, the insane people would amuse me, and maybe I could get an award for being the least insane(since I would really be sane).

Sane in the Asylum. I'd rather be able to talk to other crazy people then talk to nobody, and go crazy. Then I'd just end up in the Asylum except ACTUALLY crazy.

Having been under treatment for major affective disorder, I can tell you that there is no pleasure {or should I say knowledge} for most of the time.
Neither side of this coin have any attraction for me!

as being schizo and knowing the experience of being in an "insane asylum" / mental health hospital, where you DO GET MEDS, I would rather be in jail without meds.

hmmm...i think either would be interesting...in jail you could be by yourself...or in an insane asylum...you could be with all the nutty people...and learn things about them and from them ..so can i say both
