- glycolic acid peels

- microdermabrasion

- scar cream

- needling the scars with scar cream (taking a needle with medicine on it and putting it in the scar gently)

- copper peptide mixtures that induce collagen and new skin cell production (skin biology's products like "super cop" work well)

- 2% salicylic acid

- red light therapy that is done with a special light that filters red light waves. This light promotes healing of the skin for former and current people with acne/acne scars. Many website and companies offer the light and lamp for sale.

- hyaluronic acid - to supply moisture and hydration for scared skin

- squalene - keeps the skin from drying out, draws moisture, and helps skin texture and elasticity.

- aloe vera gel (from natural plants) can promote healing. Can be eaten or put on the skin topically.

- Vitamin B5 taking internally

- bee pollen (can be purchased in bottles in stores like wal-mart) helps heal the skin and helps with tone balance of the skin.

- oil control because oil can make the scars appear bigger. Try blotting paper to remove excess oil w/o stripping your face of all oil with harsh soaps or regular paper towel.
