Cats can be percieved in different ways. Black Cats are thouht to mean bad luck. But, honestly i have owned many animals alot of which were black cats. And i can tell you that they are just loving animals. However people may use animals to do evil. And in my country (Trinidad) which is rich in folklore there is a belief that a being called a lagahoo can transform him self into any animal he wants to. Where i am from this is a serious belief. Cats from ancient times have been thought to be guardians and protectors. Some people believe that they appear to guard against evil.
I can confirm this latter statement from a personal experiance. We had a cat (she just happened to be black) and under the assumption that we believe that there is evil in the world, there was an incident at home when my aunt felt something holding her down in her bed but there was no one there physically. the cat went over to her and acted strangely, hissing and making cat noises, proceeding to walk on top of my aunt and what ever was holding her let go of her and only returned when the cat moved away. and left again when the cat went back to her. So it's my belief that they are here to protect, just as a dog may have done. Depending on the vibe you got at the time you saw the cats, that should determine, if you feel safe or not or if they make you uncomfortable. But cats are just loving animals. Its people you need to look out for.

If they seem out of place along with not belonging to the inhabitants,it could be a sign. Throughout hisory cats have been seen as guardians and guides. Next time you see one around concentrate and see if you get any kind of feeling from them. If not they are probably just exploring. Trust your instincts.

Cats are messengers. If you see more than two in a single night, there is an urgent message for you that you are missing somehow.

When you see cats it means you're at my house.

And to those of you with the silly idea that black cats are bad luck, I have a black kitten and she's adorable. And I've read that in England, white cats are bad luck and black ones are not.

CATS ARE A REPRESENTATION OF SNEAKY, CUNNING PEOPLE. ALSO BE CAREFUL OF SHARP OBJECTS WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. CATS ALSO REPRESENT CUTS.
BUT.... AS FOR AN ANSWER FOR YOUR QUESTION.
NO MATTER HOW MANY ANSWERS YOU GET ON HERE, YOU MUST GO BACK AND THINK... WHEN YOU FIRST SAW EACH OF THE CATS, WHAT CAME INTO YOUR MIND?
LISTEN AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR ANSWER. YOU KNOW ALREADY WHAT YOUR ANSWER IS. YOU ARE SEEKING CONDONEMENT SO AS TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE RECIEVED. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THAT VERY FIRST INSTINCT.

It means that there are cats that are homeless and are wandering your neighborhood. Hello...they're just cats.

it means that you're not blind and have good vision because you can see well at night and perhaps nosey (kidding!). most likely, they are no more than stray cats looking for food, rummaging through trash bins maybe.
