the other day, i found a light brown spider in my home and it was on a shirt, i was handing the shirt to someone so he could kill it, when he reached for the shirt, the spider jumped off the shirt.
does any one have any idea of what kind of spider it is?

a wolf spider can jump. There are more then 5000 species of jumping spiders around the world. Unless you have a picture it would be hard to identify it. Down below is a web site that has pictures of some spiders on it.

Kinda depends on where you live. Lots of spiders can jump, just like ALL spiders bite! But, in California, only the Black Widow and Brown Recluse have fangs long enough to puncture our skin. Ask Bug Man Bob
