ok, everytime I try and play movies on my playstation2 it messes up. I can see the picture it just keeps shifting and acting all screwy, I hook my av jacks into the back of my vcr. what can I do to make it stop messing up and enjoy my video with full quality?

PS2's are notorious for messing up when playing DVD's haven't seen one that played DVD normal after a few moths of use. my advice is get a cheap DVD player it will work better then the PS2 plus you don't want to overheat system in trying to make it work and be out the PS2 all together.

Take $25.00 go to walmart an purchase a cheap DVD player and watch your dvd's on a dvd player, my brother had to send his PS2 back to sony since it was still under warrenty at the time cause the DVD's messed up his system....something with the disks being heavier according to Sony

i have a similar problem with mine my problem is the connector that is at the other end of the a.v. cables the red and yellow ones it is loose in the socket of the ps2 i think i need a new plug inside the ps2 try that out.......
