i really wanna watch it, its just i'm worried about one thing..do you think this will bring the whole issues of terrorism and islam up??? I mean we've barely got over it and Muslims are trying to spread the message that Islam and terrorism are not related in anyway.. so i'm just afraid that the rage against muslims would increase, which will not be pleasent..

Well since I don't like movie houses I'll watch it on Pay per view or something like that.
To address Princess's concerns:
Muslims might be trying to get us to believe that Islam and terrorism are not related but that doesn't mean that it is true. They haven't convinced many anyhow. At present they are committing acts of terror all over the world. Remember Bombay (Mumbai) India on July 11Th were they detonated 7 bombs killing over 200 and injuring 700. Besides the war in Israel and Lebanon has really brought the whole issue to the forefront again. Check out this link

I think I will end up seeing this movie, but not until it comes out on DVD. I remember everything that happened that day and (terrorism aside) it was so moving to see everyone drop their petty differences and focus on something that was bigger than all of us. I think we got the chance to see true American spirit that day. It's good to know that we, as a country, are capable of such things.

Great movie. Saw it last night.
The movie is based on actual events told by the survivors of the 9/11 tragedy. It is not fictionalized.

It is a Hollywood, fictionalized story, meant to tug at our heart strings. After Pearl Harbor, they didn't make movies instantly. That came at least 50 years later. The movie is manipulative, and we, Americans, are suckers for this, especially in the midst of an unpopular (and I mean Vietnam was great by comparison) war.

Definitely going to go see it. We can't forget. I think everyone who can handle sitting through it, even though it is painful, should go see it.
