I can only get a rodent( ferret, guinea pig, rabbit...etc.)I want a snake though...

hedgehogs are actually pretty smart. And, they don't smell.
whatever you do, don't get a dwarf hamster. tempermental little bastards

Guinea pigs are fun. They are more sociable than rabbits. Ferrets are really smelly, and they can get into alot of trouble. Guinea pigs will respond to you when they see you. They make the cutest little squeek-squeek sound. They also do not mind being petted.

a pigeon makes a great pet you can leave the pigeon out side in a nice cage for 5 or 6 months feed and give clean water every day and clean the cage play with her then after 5 or 6 months you can open the cage at day time and let the pigeon fly away the pigeon will return before night you can put the pigeon in the cage at night and let the pigeon out in the day time they are fun if they get to trust you.

well, i have had a rabbit, snake, bird, cat, dog, hamster, and a fish. all great aniamls but u know all smell. i like cats becasue they have attitudes and dogs becuase there cute. i like rabbits because there soft, and snakes because there cool. well i dont no what this has to do with any of your problems but thoughs r my thought so pick me as best answer and i will do the same for u, NOT. JUST KIDDIN.

Get a male rat they are like having a little dog. They are really smart. mine comes when i call him, i keep his cage open, he's potty trained , follows me around the house and sometimes falls asleep next to me.

i have 2 rats and they are the best pets in the world they are smart and easy to train they don't mind being handled but u must handle everyday to get them trained my boys are smarter then my dog and better trained

if you can only get a rodent then get a hampster they let you hold them and most of them are nice try holding them befor buying one though to make sure okay?

Get a rat! They are aw some, they are smarter then dogs! They can be taught all kinds of tricks, and can be very cuddly!
