Are we encouraging girls more than boys?
I went to a high school soccer tournament, and the girls' games had all kinds of people yelling and cheering at them. The guys' games had much fewer people at them, and nobody was even cheering. I was yelling for one team, and everybody was staring at me. Now professors are saying that girls are showing up for college and just seem more motivated, while the boys seem deflated and uninterested. Are we discriminating against a bunch of guys who never owned slaves and never turned a person away from a job because they were female?

It's time for girls in sports to be recognized. Ever since the beginning of time, sports has always been a "man thing." Wake up America. Our girls exceed in sports too.

as the gals sports are coming out more than they ever had, more people are going to the sports. women they say are 4 to 1 ratio in this country. that means more gals are into sports, fitness and other things than before. guys know that they can get top jobs after college. women have had to compete or sleep there way to the top. women have had to prove alot more than men in society. the ones that are smart and totally hot know they can get anything they want after college. even the ugliest guy with smarts can get a job faster than a woman.

OMG!! I agree with you. The answer is yes. We are encouraging girls more because society wants to make up for they way girls were treated a million years ago.

Just you wait and see, soon there will be a men liberation for equal rights, and I will be right there supporting them!

never owned slaves...what are u talking about? it's about time more people showed some interest in female sports and activities. men's sports are constantly on tv and praised, there's been no major shift.
