the ultrasound, but she's pry too small, I don't feel the movements yet. I know the normal range for it is 18-20weeks for the first pregnancy. This is my first. But a friend of mine felt her first baby movement at 14 weeks(wonderful boy, first pregnancy too). So, I know I might feel them earlier too, who knows.Just can't wait. Actually I have gas and feel movements in the baby area.(but I know it is gas, as I'm passing it out a few seconds after). Can it be that I'm wrong and this is actually the baby?
When did you feel your first baby's moves?

Congratulations!

I was about 18 weeks when I could feel our daughter moving inside me. I was about 20 weeks when both my husband and I could feel her moving from the outside. She was my fourth pregnancy.

It's probably going to take a while, sorry to say. I know how much I was looking forward to feeling her movements between the time we found we were expecting and when we could feel her.

Unfortunately the some of the bowel is in the same area that you will feel the baby moving in. What you're feeling now is probably gas.

It won't be long, though. Before too long you'll be wishing the kid would curl up and take a nap in there so you can get some sleep!

Oh believe me you will feel the baby's movements pretty soon, and when you get 38 weeks like me, you are gonna wish that the baby will be still sometimes. It's a joy to feel a baby move inside of you. I enjoy it but girl sometimes, like at night when you are tired and trying to get some rest, he/or she won't let you because of the strong movements. Good luck with the pregnancy.

You know it's baby when it happens. It feels like someone sticking their finger into your stomach. Except the little person is on the inside. Anyway, it's still early for you. Wait another month. Sometimes it's easier to feel the movements when you are absolutely still, especially before you fall asleep in bed or when you are in your office, typing away. From one mother to another, It's a very special feeling. Congrats and all the best!

I don't remember the exact week. I do remember that early on in the pregnancy it kind of feels like gas. I have had 5. I've been "fixed" a while now. But I swear that sometimes I feel a baby move.

I remember feeling little "flutters" when my kids began to move in me, which reminded me of gas, too. I don't remember how many weeks that was, though. Anyway, everyone is different. And the baby will move at different times. My first born was very active at night and my second got active after I ate. Don't worry... it will happen! Best wishes and congratulations! s.

You can actually start feeling it at 14 wks. when you feel butterflies flutter (and not pass gas right after) and sudden jolts or thuds, thats the baby! I'm preg. with my second and she's kicking like crazy right now. Its the best feeling in the world!!! Hope you feel it soon, and cherish it! Congrats!!!

i felt my son move at about 19.5 weeks. you can tell between gas and the baby, b/c the baby feels like a tiny fish - flopping around on your bladder. lol....at the begining, i found it easier to feel him when i was laying on my back. try laying on your bed, but don't be discouraged if you don't feel right away...that lil guy/gal will be dancing on your bladder/ribs/lungs soon enough! lol...best of luck to you

Hang in there- everyone is different. I know you are anxious...

Just wait until you can see the hands and feet move across your belly (very strange to see for the first time!)

It could be the baby...if in a week or two they get stronger then you will know it was him the whole time...patience...they grow fast so enjoy every second of ii. Before you will know he will be here next to you.
