I personally don't know if Bush is racist or not. After Katrina some celebraties started to say that Bush hates Black people. This kind of talk has penatrated my high school and even some of my wacko liberal teachers have joined in the ordeal. Why do so many people make these accusations?

Bush doesn't hate black people. The government acted EXTREMELY slow during Katrina. The majority of people in New Orleans are black. So just because Kanye West says it, doesn't make it true. (Shocking I know!) The president is a good man. The media gets him on every little slip up and mistake and stupid thing he says. And people hold that stuff against him. Lets not forget he's human. I'd like to see the media hold a magnifying glass over some of these bush haters - surprising as it is, they are not perfect either.

I guess Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and General Colin Powell don't think so. Racism and bigotry go back a long way. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a racist bigot, but that really doesn't work any more. Things began to change after WWII, and if things still aren't perfect to this day, they're pretty darn good in America for everybody. I like that a lot.

No need to argue with your teachers, just take what they say with a grain of salt. You sound like a better person than they are.

I don't know about Bush, but his mommy sure is. Here's her comment about the Katrina survivors living on cots in the Astrodome. "Almost everyone I've talked to said we're going to move to Houston. What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. (Said with concern.) Everybody is so overwhelmed by all the hospitality. And so many of the peoples in the arena here, you know, they're underprivileged anyway, so this--this (she chuckles slightly) is working very well for them."

These people were sleeping on cots on the floor of a basketball court. And Barbara Bush thought things were working out well for them....That kind of smug, casual racism is the reason Bush Jr. has no standing in the black community.

I think the American people are the stupidest people on earth. They can't tell right from wrong. They continuously get they sorry asses into other people's war, driven by Jews, and die at war by the millions in just 1 century. Don't know how many more Americans that will be manipulated and lied to, and in the end die, and they still can't figure out why and who caused it. Questions about is Bush this.. or.. is Bush that... and should we or should we not support Israel...proves it! Can't Americans think? The answer is NO

NO! Mr. Bush is not a racist!
Our society demands instant gratification & solutions to problems on a daily basis.
Katrina was an act of nature & no one could have done anything faster other than the ppl themselves!
They knew it was comming & should have left earlier. Those who absolutely could not leave, should have sought shelter on higher ground.
I wish ppl would stop trying to place blame about EVERY thing that goes wrong & use some common sense!
Also,President Bush did the only thing he could do about the war, except NUKE them!I would not sit down & whimper either! They attacked us & killed our fellow Americans.THey were thinking human beings,NOT a hurricane!

Yes. People say that he is not because he has African Americans in his cabnet, yet he only speaks of Islamic terrorism, and never about any other type of terrorism (*cough* School of the Americas training many brutal Latin and South American terrorists *cough* allowing products into this country made be sweatshop and child labor *cough*). Also, why is he only worried about the Mexican border, when there are also many people crossing the Canadian border...

I think it was a stupid ignorant comment that Kanye West had said that which is not true. Look who he got for his administration Colin Powel and Condaleza Rice. Don't know if I spelled their names correctly. And Celebrities are ignorant they don't do their homework and say stupid comments. And as for liberal teachers they should believe in their own ideas and not follow people who don't know what they are talking about.

I thought that our Secretary of State is black and a woman at that. Did you hear that comment about Bush from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?

There is no shred of evidence that demonstrates that he is a racist. That is just an accusation leveled at him by minorities who need someone to blame for their poor standing in society. Powers forbid they get jobs and abandon their degenerate subculture.
