If you fed a pig bacon, or pork chops, or anything pork, would they sense they are eating parts of themselves?

They don't care. They would eat each other alive. Ask me, we have 4,000 of them. Sometimes they will eat off a tail very deep and make a hole about 6" in diameter. The victim will lose the use of it's back legs and die.

Pigs have been known to eat their own young, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for them to scarf down a chop or two

Nah, but i think they're vegetarians. Back in the day they were forced to eat trash, but they dont exactly favor it. your question was kinda funny though.
