I want an intro to my project - help?

The project title is Art and Architecture in Ancient and Medieval India. I got all other necessary info but just can't get an introduction. Its all about the differnt monuments in India such as Sun temple, Khajuraho, Ajanta and Ellora

I really don't know a lot about Art and Architecture in Ancient and Medieval India (sorry), but I would suggest doing something interesting. That's always the best way to start out a paper or a project. Maybe you could talk about a legend that surrounds one of the temples, or an interesting story. Something that will catch the reader's attention. (We all hear that from teachers, but that's the way it goes.)
Example: India is characterized by stunning art and architecture...(insert a few examples)...but few know the history and thought that has been built into these ancient masterpieces.
Now, I totally just made that up. It's probably completely wrong, but I hope an example like that might get you started!

Maybe you want to say something about how or why you selected this project, and/or how you started it, what made you feel most interested in it, etc. An intro is basically an opening, and it is important to make the readers/audience/teacher(s) feel interested in getting to know more of your project.
