The big oil companies seem to want this country to go broke. The government is so disorganized it is doing nothing to stabilize the pricing. It is time to really punish companies like BP for neglect. They should be made to replace the lost production from Alaska by giving product from their North Sea operations. If nothing else is done the government should put a rationing system in place. That way the poor could get reasonably priced gas for essentials and those that have the money can pay through the nose for more stuff.
