Lay a Big Bertha 9.5 degree Warbird Driver upside his lippy skull. I know what you mean. I use to (use to that is) play with a guy that analyzed EVERYTHING from the supposed scratch mark on his ball and how it affected a 50 yard shot to having a loose shoe on his tee shot therefore causing the ball to slice instead of draw to "maybe I should have put my one iron in the bag instead of the 5 wood" when I've never seen him play either anyway.
His game sucked anyway and he constantly pouted. So the last time I played with him, we were on the 5th hole and his gums were flapping to the beat of a non existent wind that was screwing up his chance for his best game ever (he had a par on #1) when I said,"I know exactly what you need to do that might not improve your game but will definitely improve mine."
"Well smart guy" he said in a snotty way,"Show me."
So I threw his entire bag of clubs into the huge pond in front of the green and walked away saying,"There! That's the best thing that could have happened to MY game!"
Haven't spoken to him since.

if he's a true friend just tell him to shut the f**k up you don't need a commentary after every hit

Get your comment in first-just say for example, "good shot, I'm away" and then stride down the fairway before you have to listen to his self analysis.

Ignore it. If he's doing it to get attention from you, eventually he will stop. If he's doing it for his own reasons, then there isn't anything you can do about it.
