In general, if Hitler HADN'T invaded Russia how do you think Europe would look today?

if hitler hadn"t invaded the russia and eastern europe some other country would have. In history it is always clear that the lust for power, land, treasure and in disguise of religion had always been the factor for invading armies. Now that the prices of oil is still climbing these could be the goal of those so called liberators, in disguise as encouragers of democracy!

I think the defeat of Hitler was inevitable. As Hitler advanced towards the UK, the US would have gotten involved at some point.

History shows that the aggressor loses eventually. If we don't watch ourselves, we will share the same fate.

Moot point. Hitler's goal all along was to invade the east, not the west. He first needed the European and Scandinavian countries for their high grade coal and iron ore (better than Germany had), and he needed oil from the Romanian oil fields. He mostly bluffed has way across the European countries, which tried to appease him.
