who deserved to win the football world cup 2006 ?

Italy did win the world cup and they really earned it.
Winning on the semifinals against the host Germany in a fantastic last minute game wasn’t something easy and lucky.
Many teams were really good starting with Germany, Portugal, and England and of course the runner up France but in football only one winner so hard luck for the good teams and great job Italians.

I think for the most part the Italians deserved to win even though I don't agree with the sportsmanship that did occur during the game to force France to do a retaliation.

World cup winners are 'course ITALY,though I wanted FRANCE to win.
I had betted my everything for FRANCE to win.
France of course deserved to win after everything they put in. ZIZOU was the best of course.
Not talking of finals,Germany,Brazil & England were also good!!

It's an extremely hard tournament to win and there are no guarantees. It was about who was still standing at the end and this time around that team was Italy. Next WC we will likely see someone else stand victorious so good luck to everyone when 2010 comes around...soooo long to wait though.

The best players on this world cup are of-course Italian's soccer players!
Theirs coach is nugget and the players are very irresistible!
Just look at Fabio Cannavaro,Buffon,Materazzi,Totti,Del Piero,Luca Toni!!
Maybe Zidane is a good player but he is very nervous to be the winner!

I would have liked Spain to win it, but Italy had so many other distractions going on during the tournament and still remained focused.
