Well, if we really want to be picky...
The Steelers are the only original NFL team to join the AFC when the AFL and NFL merged prior to the 1970 season. The Colts and Browns began in the AAFC, which ran from 1946-9, and joined the NFL in 1950 with the San Francisco 49ers from the AAFC. The Colts moved to New York in 1951 and then to Dallas in 1952 before that franchise "folded" and was revived again in Baltimore in 1953.
