Yes I do. That is why they hike up the prices so high. Just like the prices in the grocery store. If people didn't keep buying them every day they wouldn't keep putting the prices up little by little. but they do. I think this is a good idea. To not have american buy gas at least one day a week. Good Question.

I don't see how it would help. We would just put gas in on a different day of the week. We are a bunch of gas hogs. I think a lot of us use more gas than we need to, myself included. I mean we could conserve more, make fewer trips to the store or carpool. I think until the price of gas is even higher where we REALLY can't afford it, we will just keep on driving when ever we want and where ever we want without even really thinking about our dependence of foreign oil. I really think this country needs to focus on alternative fuel to run our vehicles. Just looking at all the vehicles on the road that we see in our own little corners of the world, it's easy to see that gas is still not that high that most of us can't afford the $3 a gallon.

At this point, I don't think it would make a difference. Gas/Oil companies are charging a fortune for gas because they can. They know that there is a limited supply of oil and are taking advantage of the opportunity to make money while they still can. Eventually we'll move on to other resources to fuel our automobiles...until then...there's no stopping gas price. I suspect they will continue to climb.

This wouldn't work. We'd just buy the gas on another day of the week. Now if we didn't use the gas as much, then that might have some effect on price.

You would have to put the gas in on another day. Your best chance to make the oil companies lower their prices is to have everyone boycott one of the major companies. If no one ever bought gas from Mobile-Exxon or Shell - that would affect their profits. Unlikely to happen.

It might help, but why not moving closer to your job, buy a bike and sell the car altogether, now if we all did that we really got em worried.
