I've kind of heard both, but from what I've seen at staying at dorms for different high school programs, those showers are kind of nasty, and I want to know what most people do.

You should wear them to the shower and in also. I got a really bad planters wart from dorm showers. A doctor had to slice it then I had to put this liquid on to freeze it off everynight. Major pain! I hope you have fun at college, take care!

Wear them in the shower! I don't want some kind of nasty fungus.

The floor outside the shower is probably much cleaner than inside.
