Anyway to make it so when I smile my nose doesn't expand out, or to make it less noticable. I'm 16 and I very aware of the bad on my body. this was cute when I little but now it is isn't.

the only way i can think of is to practise not doing it in front of a mirror. if that doesnt work then sorry i think you'll just have to live with it.

You know what? You are very likely the ONLY person who notices this! Other people will only notice if you point it out.
So what are you going to do? Never smile? Never sing? Never breathe? Guaranteed that you look a lot better when you smile! :) Everyone looks better when they smile because being happy and confident is attractive. It's not having a thin nose or nostrils.
NEVER STOP SMILING! SMILE BIG AND BE PROUD AND HAPPY TO DO IT! :D
Self-confidence is the most sexy thing a person can have, regardless of physical attributes.
Everyone notices the "negative" things about themselves more than others do. Try to take notice of the good things about yourself and concentrate on them.
Look at yourself in the mirror every night before you go to bed, look into your eyes for 1 full minute and tell yourself: "You are beautiful and sexy and smart and have EVERYTHING going for you! I LOVE YOU!" Tell yourself that you love yourself everyday. After awhile, you will believe it! ;)

my nose gets bigger when i smile too... for a while i just did a small closed- mouth smile but i just came off looking mean. someone told me that by pressing your bottom teeth against the back of your front teeth with an open mouth smile, extends the jaw and distracts from widening the nose

Mine does too I think it's really cute. Not everyones nose does that. It's totally normal, everyone is different. Some squeak when they breathe, I bet nobody notices it as much as you. Don't worry.My husband love my nose when it flares it means I'm smiling : )

I've always thought that I had that, but I asked my friends about it and they told me it was normal, then they smiled for me. And it happened to them, too. So now I don't feel so bad about it. I'm sure that it's not really as bad as it seems to you... You're your own worst critic! :-)

Its a habit and the only thing you can do about it is make sure you watch yourself when you are doing it and try to stop.

ummm i dont think there is a solution.....except plastic surgery...or juss dont smile and sing..or dont breath..which none of these thigns r possible i dont think..especially breathing.so juss deal with it or get plastic surgery
