What do you suppose will be the outcome if a natural disaster, ie. comet, asteroid, hit India this year, God forbid? These natural disasters have been hurting the world lately.

A comet or asteroid hitting India would have global effects. If anything, the Indians would be fortunate in that they would die instantly, while the rest of the world either burned, froze, or starved later. But that's a pretty moot point, as we've detected the good majority of objects big enough to do us real harm, and it doesn't look like any of them will collide with Earth anytime in the forseeable future.
Any Earth-bound natural disaster, like a typhoon or earthquake, would be much more localized. The immediate area may be destroyed and recovery could take years, but eventually things would settle back to normal.

Well, if a comet or an asteroid would hit the earth it isn't going to matter if it hit India or somewhere else, we will all die.

why india? An asteroid would kill off about a couple of hundred million poeple. the chances are extremely slim. an earth disaster would kill less.

msot of the water supply would be instantly vaporized thousands would die a nuclear fallout of ash and debres would reach every corner of the earth and the tempeature would be a lot hiere and the earths atmosphere would be darkened you know the worst parts of the bible basically crop faliure etc...

well first off, I think our "Sun" needs to be treated with the up most respect ... LET US ALL LOOK AFTER OUR ENVIRONMENT TOGETHER!
I don't like to think much about such issues, because definitely natural disasters are inevitable!
