I felt them at the top of my belly. As the contractions got more intense they moved lower. The pressure is probably the position of the baby. Try doing cat arches...with doctor approval of course. It is where you get down on your hands and knees and arch your back up like you are an angry cat. It helps with some labor and often moves the baby into correct position. Expect to feel tired. Being pregnant takes a lot out of you. REST! You are going to need your strength.

My contractions felt like period cramps every 5-10 minutes (in true labor) the pressure you feel is probably the baby. He/she has dropped into the pelvis and is getting ready to be born.

if you are feeling presure on your "bottom" that is the baby dropping... and if your having cramps you may be in early labor... you should have your doctor check you out or the hospital. As you get farther into labor your whole tummy will tighten.. and it should hurt. Everyone goes through labor differently. Be checked out just to make sure..... and be safe!!!! Good luck!!!!

Is this your first baby? The pressure in the rectum can be labor. Call your doctor and let them know how you are feeling, this may be it.

The only time I felt pressure was when I was about to push the baby out, though it does sound like you are in labour. Your best bet would be to go to the hospital and let them check you out.

Usually you get contractions in your lower abdomen, and or lower back. You probably would know if you were in labor, but call your doctor if your water breaks or if it gets really painful.
