I have Windows 2000 currently. I also have the Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade CD., which is not compatible with 2000, only 98 and ME. What can I do? I need to make my computer XP ASAP.

Win2000 is NT Based Entirely. Win98 and ME are DOS, the only method is to clean install a Full XP or Buy another computer, the upgrade XP will not install a Full Version.... Sorry... Good Luck

if i remember correctly the old operating system doesnt even need to be installed ... if you could borrow someones 98 or ME disk ... or download it .... then just fdisk 2000 if you have to and when prompted shove in the 98 disk or whatever and then it should let you continue installing XP.
