Yes, a vampire can commit suicide for all the reasons you stated.
The werewolf know what they are in their human form and could kill themselves then.
Wow! I'm really embarrassed I answered this question. LOL!

Well the vampire could for the reason that you stated. But I think that a wereworlf could shoot itself-- even without opposable thumbs. If it used a longer barrelled gun (rifle or shotgun) if could hold the barrel in its hands and pull the trigger with its toes. Of course it may be hard to come up with a silver slug or silver buckshot. Also, can a werewolf really partake in such coordinated behavior. They seem to be very primal and not really logical-- I don't know if it would be smart enough to pull it off, but I can't see any physical restrictions. Also to go to vampires now, they are VERY aware of their existence and their situation. After 300 years of living in darkness, they may want to end their life. To see the sun, one last time... Vampires would have the motivation and can maintain control of their thoughts and actions long enough to do the deed. Perhaps they could just order a garlic pizza and poison themselves with garlic. Can garlic kill a vampire?

perhaps the vampire can get a favor fr his fellow vampire friend to kill him in whatever ways as an act of suicide though technically its considered murdering his deceased friend;p
as for werewolf, probably he could set up his own booby trap with silver bullets while he's still in a human form n just wait for the full moon or spite another werewolf to eat his heart out hehe!>:)
but if the vampire or the werewolf is the only creature left in this world, then he might just have suicide as his hobby from the rest of his life till he succeeds....hey good horror question!

Yes they could just like other people have thier reasons to give up on livng.
What makes you think that werewolfs don't have opposable thumbs as they are trasformed people.and may not take on all the charataristics of wolves. Even if they did not have opposable thumbs. they could still load a fiream and prop it in a corner and either use one hand to hold the barrel and the other to push on the trigger.or if a rifle or shotgun . hold the barel with both hands and use their foot to move the trigger.

Think about this...
Don't you think that becoming a Vampire or WW would actually be commiting suicide ... I mean you are one of the living dead.
As great as immortality would seem, even living forever would get old eventually. Where is the challange of living if nothing ever needs to happen to you in order to survive.

Didn't you heard the news? Everyday there is one vampire who commited suicide. It is the highest rate of suicide and the police are very concern about the case. There aren't many vampire to start up with and we are afraid they will extinct in the near furture.

I'm sure even an immortal would eventually get tired of existing. In the Anne Rice series, some do take themselves out.

Sure - he could go to the beach. Or date Buffy.
A werewolf could impale himself on a silver spike though.

Vampires can, but I had never thought about werewolves. Whoa.....
Edit: Like someone else said, I guess they could do it while they are human. Hmmm.
