ShahRukh Khan have already overtaken Amitabh. Shahrukh is a better actor and better dancer than Amitabh. Put Shah Rukh in any role and he'll do it with utmost passion.

Well, I think Amitabh Bachchan is better because he is the coolest. And he still has grooves. Plus he's funny. Shahrukh Khan Is also great. Especially in the movie, Kahbi Alvida Na Kehna. That movie rocks!

Well, I have never heard of either of them in my life and can't even pronounce those names.
But in the interest of actually answering your question, I Googled these 'stars' and found out that Bachchan seems slightly more famous than Khan, even though I found that Khan is known as "The King of Bollywood".
A search for Shahrukh Khan gave 1,230,000 results.
But a search for Bachchan gave a higher 1,350,000 results, leading me to believe this person is indeed a bigger celebrity than the other one.

Amitabh is a legend but Sharukh is really popular and is proably the bigger superstar.
