I'd say it is.. mine went from C to D when I was about 20.. and I was really overweight, so everyone said that when I lost weight they'd get smaller.. thats funny.. I went from a D to a DD between the age of 24 and 26.. after having lost 50 lbs.. to make it more complicated.. one is now a very large DD and one is about a D (maybe a little bigger).. try buying bras!!

Boobs are largely water and fat tissue. They serve as a kind of an early indicator for how your body is doing in terms of water retention and fat gain. If you are retaining lots of water for some immediate reason, like your menstrual cycle, then you will notice it in your breasts. If you gain weight, it may be distributed to some parts of your body more than others. For many folks, the thighs, butt and boobs are where the weight lands as you approach 30 (don't even ask what happens after that - you don't want to know).

So it's entirely possible that your growth in bust size is part of your body's natural growth and change process (that doesn't end at puberty, you know). If your waist or butt size is growing in proportion then I'd imagine that your body is simply developing and changing.

It's our culture's focus on breasts that may distract you. Bras have 3 size dimensions built into them. But panties are more just like small, medium, large, etc. We are more likely to notice a few inches difference in bust because our clothing sizing system focuses greatly on it. \

It can be. Some girls get boobs in 4th grade while others don't grow until college years. Boobs can come and go with weight loss/gain. I know someone who was an A all through highschool and at 21 she started growing. Now she is a C. It is great. Be happy. You have boobs!

This question was posted under pregnancy...so if you are pregnant, that is quite normal.

If you are not pregnant, it's normal but not common for your boobs to just grow...some possible reasons are weight gain, new birth control, or a late bloomer.....although I wouldn't put C-cups into the late bloomer category unless all the women in your family have large breast where a C-cup would be considered small.

If you are worried about it, check with your doctor, if not...enjoy having NATURAL double D's! :)

I'm going to suggest another possibility for increased breast growth - pregnancy. Do you have any reason to believe you might be pregnant?

Based on the things you've shared so far, this conclusion seems unlikely. Still, I wanted to put it out there as a viable explanation for sudden increased breast size.
