how do i make my nose look smaller?

I am guessing that you really stress about this and really stare in the mirror. This constant attention you give to your nose will make the problem seem bigger. Eyes can play trick s on you.
I am sure that you are a pretty girl and your nose is just right for your face. If youwant to do just a little somthing about it here is my makeup trick. I used to stress about my nose too, as it is a snub nose nd a bit wide. Get some bronzer that is only a shade darker than your skin tone and brush some on at either side of your nose and blend. This trick will make a persons eye travel down your face and make it seem like your nose is thinner. Also make more of your other gorgeous features. Like your eyes. Use a nice blue eyeshadow to highlight your eyes or go for a lovely deep berry colour on your lips. This will distract the view and attention. PM me if you want to talk. Your Gorgeous xxxxxx

If your parents let you wear makeup, there are some tricks that work wonders. (Don't worry, this is really easy) You'll need two shades of concealer; one that's lighter than your natural skin color, and one that's darker than your natural color. 1st, use the lighter color and "paint" a thin line down the CENTER of your nose, starting between your eyes and going to tip. Blend lightly. Then take the darker shade and blend it in on both SIDES of your nose. This is a simple shading technique that make-up artists use to make a wide nose look thinner. Also, keep your nose powdered with a sheer powder, shine accentuates. And finally, draw attention to the features you like, such as eyes, with shadow or liner (keep it natural!) or lips, with gloss. And you know what, it's not as bad as you think. 7th grade has a way of making every tiny flaw seem enormous.

I think you know yourself that there is nothing you can do to make that kind of drastic change without surgery.

I hate it, but we all have our insecurities and parts of us that we just aren't happy about. I used to hate my height, and until now I am still 5'2. But through the years I've grown to be OK with it. I have to accept that this is who I am and who I will always be, and so I might as well do what I can to enhance it, which is by wearing taller shoes.

If you are so dissatisfied with your nose, then draw attention away from it. Use powder and foundation to blend it with the rest of your face, because a nose is more noticeable when it is shiny. Emphasize your eyes with dark mascara and eyeliner to make it pop and a nice shade of lipstick. I'm sure you're beautiful, and people are just so hard on themselves sometimes, so much that it makes them sick and feel helpless.

You shouldn't cry about it if you know there is nothing you can do. Just try to enhance what you have. In the future when you are able to afford it, there is nothing wrong with surgery. But for now, good luck! :D

Makeup can be helpful, but because you're young, don't use too much. You're best bet is try to find a pale shimmery eye color that's close to your skin tone. If you have tanned skin look for more of a gold, if you have pale white skin, find more of a cream color, if you have darker skin search for more of a bronze tone. Once you find a shimmery color, just highlight the inside corner of your eyes. It'll make them stand out more when you're looking dead on. Maybe a rosey blush lightly applied on your cheekbones will help with the side view of your nose. Don't over apply the makeup just dust it on with a makeup brush that you can find at most drug stores or a target/walmart. God luck hun!

It is hard to understand when it is you, but soon you will realize how minor something like the size of your nose is. I broke my nose in 7th grade. My parents didnt notice till I was 30! I never told them because I thought they would punish me for fighting. It used to be a big deal to me, but I stopped thinking about it somewhere during college. It really is hard to do. I understand that it is a really big deal in your life right now, but trust me, spend your time and energy in something that matters. Maybe learn to play the guitar, golf, or surf. Oddly enough, when you are good at something, people tend to notice what you are good at rather than something physically about you.

On cartoons they used to put their thumb in their mouth and blow on it.....that would make their heads get bigger thus, rationally your nose should look smaller.

If that doesnt work, don't worry about it, you are very young and will still grow for about 6 more years....it will all proportion itself out in the end.

You know what young lady, I'm 29 now and I have just realized that some of the chicks that I went to school with who were so called "funny looking" are really really hot now. And the hot ones, are not so hot anymore, many are barefoot and pregnant now. (If you dont know what the means dont worry about it, it'll make sense one day). All I'm saying is wait it out, it might be awkward now, but I'll bet you be glad you didnt do anything stupid.

BTW....don't bother adjusting your makeup a lot, cause anything that draws negative attention will only draw more attention to what you think is wrong with you.
