It is ideal that you stay away from bodily contact with other people for a few weeks, if possible. Make sure that there is no infection first before you kiss make out of 'whatever'.

Snakebites are sometimes more difficult to heal because your lip has to focus on two wounds at once, so its best to be gentle, and to take care of your piercings really well. Some people find that taking vitamin c can help keep your body healthy and help speed up healing.
Keep in mind that your piercings will not be fully healed untill 2 to 4 months, so do not change the jewlery untill the healing process is over.

Are you wanting a smaller ring or a labret stud? Did you tell your piercer you wanted the piercing positioned in such a way that you could wear rings or labret studs? If not, then you may only be able to wear the ring because there is a very definite placement for a labret stud under the lower lip. Sometimes if you want to start with a ring they can pierce you lower under the bottom lip and start you with a larger diameter CBR. If your piercer thought you wanted to wear rings exclusively then a labret stud would not fit properly due to piercing placement, especially since labret stud piercings are done at an angle to keep the jewelry from rubbing uncomfortably against the gums. Since you were likely started with a larger diameter ring to allow for swelling, it's probably feeling a bit large to you. At around ten days, if the swelling has completely subsided, you can go back to your piercer and ask to fitted with a standard diameter ring.

did your piercer tell you how long the healing time was? I can expect that it would be painful for a week or 2 but your best bet would be to check with the guy/gal that pierced you

it will only bother you for maybe a week..not even..it takes between 6 to 8 months for the piercing to heal fully and properly..what ever your piercer said to clean it..keep doing that..whats best for it though is just normal Ivory soap and q tips to clean it..and epsom salts to sooth it..but give it a few days and you should be fine..just takes some getting used to after you have it done..hope this helps..good luck!

As soon as you are able without it hurting. Most piercings take about two weeks to not be sore, and even longer to heal. ASAP if you can be gentle. :)
