Contrary to popular belief, the scars were caused by a disease called Lupus which Seal suffered from when he was a child.
The particular strain from which Seal suffers causes blistering especially around the facial area, which when ruptured cause deep scarring.

i think seal is from africa but raise in uk. some culture in africa, the scars represent status in a tribe, some sign of adulthood and some is a sign of what tribe they are.
they are both lovely couple, i love to hear him sing, i always see them in magazine looking fabulous together and always sweet to each other. i have heard about the story of seal being friend with heidi before they hook up. he babysit her daughter and dedicate his song to her. he is a sweet noble man and he really love heidi.

He contraacted lupus at a yoounger age, thats what caused the scarring.

He is frightening looking and with all his money, and Heidi's now, he really should get a serious chemical peel. Those are heavy duty acne scars.
