Okay,say you were trapped in a cave b/c your arm was crushed by a rock. Would you eat your own arm off to save yourself.You have no knives or tools or any kind. Your only option is to eat it off. Would you?

Hellz yeah! Then I would go find a gun and blow my brains because I was missing an arm. Hey, I couldn't die of a slow starving death in the cave so I had to eat the arm off, but I would end my life quickly with a gun so I wouldn't have to walk around for the rest of my life armless.

Give another scenario because I always have a razor sharp pocket knife. Unless my pants have been previously ripped off by a bear then yes I would eat it off or use a sharp rock. Or if my bones were broke then I would just rip the skin apart.

no,eating the arm would be self-cannibalism.that's gross.i wouldn't gnaw it off because i would bleed and die faster.i'd just lay there and let my arm go numb.then fall asleep until someone that i know realizes that i've been lost for 2 days & recruits a search team to come and find me.otherwise,i'm doomed.i hope the cave doesn't belong to a grizzly bear or tazmanian devil and they don't feast on rotten limbs:(

You can't chew thru the bone. The pain from trying to break thru the bone of a mangled arm would make you pass out. You would die.

i thought about the same thing once,i got drunk at a club and took this girl home,on the way home she was fine ,when i woke up the next morning,i thought to myself ,can i chew my own arm off to keep me from waking this ugly chicken head up,the answer for me is yes yours truly lefty

No,..bite it off maybe..but not to eat it...instead I would do a pull, tug, tear, twist move to snap it off, then I would just bite into the flesh just to make it pull apart easier...kinda like tenderizing.. "sooo meaty"
