Now before i start i am not trying to sound like a perv or anything i am just wondering if this has happened to you

well im 25 weeks pregnant and i have already went to the doctor when this happened so i know to go to the doctor this is just a simple question if this has happpened to you

i was having sex and after i got done i went to the bathroom and there was blood the doctors told me this was normal because when your having sex your partner could be rubbing up against something to make you bleed i am still kinda worried even though the doctor told this was normal has anyone had this happen to them??!? thats just what i am wondering thanks everyone!

yup normal, ESPECIALLY when you're pregnant when you get pregnant your membranes soften (all of them, that's why you hear about so many women having weird congestion problems when they are pregnant), and your cervix and lady parts are all membranes and the softening of them makes them a bit sensitive to rubbing and poking, and more likely to bleed. As long as it's not enough blood to soak a pad with you're probably right it's nothing to be concerned about, but keep track of it, and continue to talk to your doctor if it continues. If the bleeding does not stop after it's been a while after sex, or starts when you haven't had sex, then you need to talk to your doctor (or call the nurse and get her opinion). But like I said it's pretty normal, happened to me on occassion when I was pregnant (the first time... the second I didn't notice if I bled so I'm guessing I didn't).

It happened to me, too. I asked my midwife, and she said that it's nothing at all, (unless the bleeding is severe), and that it's probably from friction against the cervix.

She said that having sex doesn't cause harm to the baby at all, and not to worry about it unless there are some complications and your dr says to refrain, or unless it makes you uncomfortable.

Good luck, and congrats on your baby!

This has happend to me too when i was pragnant. Try not to worry too much. If you continue to bleed and it gets worse, followed by pain, then go to emergency, or your doctor. Otherwise try to relax and enjoy the rest of your pragnancy. Take care!

YES,her husband broke my nose and i cut my arm going through the window.I barly avoided the bullet that I'm sure would have been more painful and caused much more bleeding!

this happened to a friend of mine around the same time i'm thinking and he told her the same thing. the baby was fine and she was full term so I'm thinking its not really anything to worry about if you've already consulted your ob once
